OCZ presenta nuovi kit DDR2 da 8Gb
OCZ Technology, uno dei principali produttori di memorie, ha presentato un nuovo kit di memorie DDR2 composto da 2 banchi da 4 Gb per un totale di ben 8 Gb. Il kit è stato ottimizzato per il chipset Intel P45 e Windwos Vista x64 Ultimate. Chiamato con la sigla OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400 "P45 Special" Platinum 8GB Edition, il kit è dedicato a chi ha bisogno di grandi quantità di memoria nelle applicazioni come il video editing, rendering, CAD, ecc..
La frequenza delle memorie è di 800 MHz, con latenze pari a 5-4-4-18 e funzionano a soli 1.8V. Per quanto riguarda il sistema di dissipazione si nota che il kit è dotato della tecnologia XTC (Xtreme Thermal Convection) grazie alla quale il calore viene smaltito al meglio.
